There's a bear in Six Mile Creek!!!
Here's a note from my friend Jim Hilker:
Hi Chris
Jim Hilker here. Hey, there is a black bear hanging out in the six mile
creek watershed area. He was at my house Saturday morning and I was able to
capture some video of him as he was leaving the scene (after he had climbed
halfway into the back of my pickup truck!).
I've had 3 replies from others in the area who have spotted the bear; the
last being on Treava Ave just off State St in the city limits. I'm thinking
this bear heard about the brew fest on Q-Country and is coming on down ;o)
I'd be cool if you told your listeners about the bear and ask for pictures
and video. Let me know if you do and if so, if you get any pics / vids.
