A bit of Ithaca history. In 1916, the New York State Grange began marketing animal feed based on a formula developed at Cornell University. This was followed by pooling the activities of county Farm Bureau committees and the feed operations of the Dairymen’s League Association, and later the consolidation of the feed operations of these three organizations into the Cooperative Grange League Federation, known as GLF, in Ithaca, which later became Agway. Today, we know the operation as Ithaca Agway / True Value.
Now, over 90 years later, Ithaca Agway is a hub of activity year round. “Ask Agway” has become a household phrase. For instance….
How can I fix my leaky faucet without hiring a plumber? Ask Agway. They have everything you need and the knowledge to walk you through the job yourself.
What’s the best food to feed my new pet? Ask Agway. The choices can be mind-boggling. They’ll take the time to ask you questions and help you decide what’s best for your new furry or feathered friend.
What types of plants have the best chance of surviving at my house? I don’t get much sunshine. Ask Agway. They know their plants…and trees, shrubs, ornamental grasses, vegetables and herbs.
Bottom line….Ithaca Agway True Value is your yard, garden and pet place. Brands you trust. People who know. A Pioneer of the Finger Lakes. Visit today on Route 13 in Ithaca’s West End or check the web at www.ithacaagway.com
