Born and raised in Albany, NY, Marty Brandon's been entertaining radio audiences with his upbeat style and off-the-wall sense of humor since 1983.  He's proud to say that he's never had a "real" job.....in his own words he's parlayed "Class Clown" into a three decade entertainment career !  Marty's worked around the US on radio, plus he's done stand-up comedy, cartoon voiceovers, comedy writing, live music and all sorts of entertainment oriented jobs...basically anything to avoid "growing up".   And we're NOT making this up...he actually worked as a casino blackjack dealer, a costumed baseball team mascot and even made one very brief (and horrifying) appearance as an Elvis impersonator ! When he's not on Q-Country, you can find Marty singing !  He's a guitarist and singer/songwriter specializing in Irish and Celtic music, with three successful CDs under his belt and more on the way.  Marty has two daughters (both grown) and shares living space with his dogs Lola and Fergal, Louie the Cat and his "House Bunny" Tipper McRabbit.   And just like when he's on-the-air on Q-Country, there's never a dull moment in "MartyLand" !
