Cops, Kids, And Toys

This year Cayuga Radio Group is teaming up with Cops Kids and Toys and we're going to need your help. We’re looking to fill a giant stocking with a Ton of Toys.

On December 4th, we are going to climb into a lift at the Shops at The Ithaca Mall. During the course of the weekend, we'll raise the lift to show the giant stocking as it fills with a “Ton Of Toys” for Cops Kids and Toys. Cayuga Radio Group is asking you to join us by donating a new, unwrapped toy that can be given to children who might otherwise not have anything at Christmas this year. We will stay in that lift for the weekend or until the goal is met.

You don’t have to wait to donate! If you’re out shopping between now and then, take an unwrapped, new toy to the customer service counter and they’ll add it to our collection for the stocking!
It’s expected to be a very busy year for Cops Kids and Toys. Please give generously!

Cops, Kids & Toys is a program that began in the early 1980s to help families who were unable to provide holiday gifts for their children. The first year the program helped four families. The program continues with that same goal and has been able to help more families in Tompkins County over the years. It's expected that this year will be the organization’s busiest.

Parents and caregivers will need to fill out an application at any County law enforcement agency or the Probation department. It takes less than 5 minutes to fill out but MUST be done by December 1st

Donation boxes to drop off toys are distributed throughout Tompkins County. Monetary donations are accepted anytime at any county law enforcement agency or the County Probation Department and checks should be made out to: Cops, Kids & Toys Inc. Monetary donations may also be mailed to 863 Hanshaw Road, Ithaca, NY 14850.
