The DOT plans to finish paving around the tuning fork (State Street / Seneca Street wrap-around) - and the the paving of Seneca Street to Cayuga Street by the end of the day Friday. Expect lane restrictions and delayed traffic.
The Water & Sewer Division has completed work in the 900 block of East State Street and the street has been reopened to traffic.
The East Clinton Street bridge at Six Mile Creek and Prospect Street near the Ithaca Police Department is closed until November.
Utility work by NYSEG will close the 100 block of Elmwood Avenue to all through traffic during the workday and Mitchell Street will be reduced to one lane at times.
Gas line work will close the 400 block of North Geneva street to all traffic during the workday. The contractor will also work along the 100 block of Chestnut street and 100 block of Sunrise road. NYSEG projects are to be finished this month.
Re-paving of Route 13 between Hanshaw road and the Ithaca city line continues.
The Groton City Road bridge, in the town of Groton, is closed indefinitely.
Work continues on the East Shore Drive water main replacement project, impacting local traffic.

The New York State Department of Transportation hopes to complete a paving operation affecting downtown Ithaca one day ahead of schedule.
