"Christine Cox is the editor of the quarterly paper, "Snow Lion: The Buddhist Magazine and Catalog," and serves on the Board of Snow Lion Publications. By publishing the "Snow Lion," her work is keeping the legacy of Tibet, its sacred teachings and cultural artifacts, alive. She is also helping numerous Tibetan families throughout the world continue to produce and sell their unique artistic pieces and crafts, by providing an outlet for them. More than two decades ago Christi was part of the group that brought the Dalai Lama to America for the first time, introducing him to the West, which enabled the Tibetan leader to begin to speak his message to the rest of the world. Here is an article she wrote about the personal side of that experience: http://www.snowlionpub.com/pages/N83_2.html .

She is co-editor of His Holiness the Dalai Lama's book, "The Path to Bliss," and has affiliations with both college campuses in Ithaca. She is a quiet, artistic, vibrant person who does so much for so many, and it is an honor to know her."
